Ribeca is the result of decades of work to recover the Perricone relic vine, of which Firriato has selected its clone. Perricone produces a wine which is a deep, dark ruby red with a complex nose of blackberries, plums and cherry with underlying hints of liquorice and spice. In the mouth the clean tannins give a wine with great elegance and clarity with a refreshing acidity which balances the more voluptuous character of the fruit.
