At Fruttivendolo, we specialise in the finest fresh fruit, vegetables, and quality dry goods. To ensure the highest standards of food safety and freshness, all our deliveries are handled by our internal logistics team. This allows us to guarantee that your produce is transported in a climate-controlled, professional environment from our warehouse directly to your establishment.

Shipping Rates & Savings

Standard Delivery: £70 + VAT.

Volume Discount: We aim to make bulk buying as affordable as possible. Your delivery fee automatically reduces by £7 for every £100 added to your basket.

FREE Delivery: All orders over £1,000 qualify for free delivery to the UK mainland.

Our Delivery Schedule

To ensure the shortest window from our warehouse to your establishment, we follow a strict bi-weekly cycle:

Order by Monday (before 1:00 PM): Delivered on Thursday or Friday.

Order by Thursday (before 1:00 PM): Delivered on Monday or Tuesday of the following week.

Warehouse Collection (Free of Charge)

If you prefer to collect from our Edinburgh hub, select "Pickup in store" at the checkout.

Collection Times: Similarly to Delivery, if you order by Monday 1PM, you can collect your order on Thursday, and if you order by Thursday 1PM, you can collect your order on Monday of the following week.

Security: For collections, we require the name of the person and the plate number of the vehicle being used.

Other Important Info

Access: Because we use our own vehicles, please notify us promptly of any parking restrictions, narrow access, or specific opening hours so our drivers can accommodate you.

Tracking: Once your delivery is scheduled, you will be notified automatically and receive a 1-hour delivery window on your scheduled day.

Standard Areas: Rates apply to UK mainland. For the Scottish Highlands and Islands, a surcharge may apply; we will always seek your approval before charging anything extra.

Our Return Policy

Our policy lasts 5 working days from the time you receive your delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

Perishable & Exempt Goods

Because we handle fresh produce, several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

Fresh Food: Due to health and safety, perishable goods such as fruit, vegetables, and dairy cannot be returned once delivered and accepted.

Other Exemptions: We do not accept returns on health/personal care items, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
