In the fertile limestone rich soils of the Salento Peninsula grow these Primitivo grapes enriched & intensified by the long hot summers and low seasonal rainfalls. Boasting the ripe character of this region, this Primitivo DOC spends a period in oak barrique and develops a deep ruby red colour, full bodied character with soft velvety tannins and intensely warming aromas of sun blessed dark fruits with spicy notes.
